Fifth Grade Art

 

 

By the time children reach fifth grade they are able to focus quite well on a variety of art subjects.  I like to keep the students interested in art with a variety of techniques and ways to explore their creativity.

This year we will focus on our "Big" Question, "Why do Artists make art?"  Our artist inspirations come from "Pop" Artists

Legacy Project-  Each fifth grader will leave their legacy with a tile that they create.  The tiles are intaled on the 5th grade steps in a mosaic design.  Our theme this year is "We are a Kaleidoscope of Strengths ".  We will discuss what does it mean to be a bobcat not only at Ventana Vista but out in Tucson and beyond.
